Calient Networks and EdenTree Technologies Announce Reseller Agreement

EdenTree will sell Calient's Automated Fiber Management Solutions Integrated with EdenTree's Lab Management Software

Calient Networks, a leading carrier-class all-optical switching systems and software provider, today announced that it has signed a Reseller Agreement for the North American market with EdenTree Technologies, a leader in lab management and test automation solutions for network equipment manufacturers and service providers.  EdenTree will sell Calient’s DiamondWave® Automated Fiber Management (AFM) product into the rapidly growing test lab automation market.

EdenTree’s customers are experiencing operational and capital cost constraints as they develop and deploy new IP-centric network equipment. Together, Calient and EdenTree bring dramatic productivity improvement to interoperability, product test, verification, and customer support labs.  Rather than spending hours or days to set up and configure tests, lab personnel are able to instantly create test configurations with a few clicks of a mouse, allowing them to spend their time on value-added activities.  Deployments to date have proved that when the combination of Calient’s AFM managed by the EdenTree Lab Manager software is introduced into a lab, equipment can be more efficiently used, testing simplified, and even the largest of configurations provisioned in minutes.  Test throughput is dramatically improved while costs are reduced. 

EdenTree will now sell Calient’s DiamondWave Automated Fiber Management product to North American labs operated by equipment manufacturers, service providers, and enterprises, along with their award-winning lab management software.
