EdenTree Technologies Receives TMC Labs
2006 Innovation Award for INTERNET TELEPHONY® Magazine
EdenTree™ Lab Manager Singled Out for Outstanding
Innovation
EDENTREE TECHNOLOGIES, INC., innovator of lab management
and test automation solutions, today announced that
Technology Marketing Corporation’s TMC Labs division named
EdenTree Lab Manager
as a 2006 Innovation Award winner from
INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine.
Lab Manager is an open "lab operating system" that
automates network labs including those involving VoIP systems
and services. Lab Manager works
with any kind of network equipment, managing physical layer
infrastructure to which test equipment and devices under test
(DUTs) are connected. The result is a software-controlled lab
environment with a simple, drag-and-drop user interface that
allows engineers to easily and remotely design and implement
topologies. The company has recently launched Lab Manager
5.0, a totally re-architected version of the software
designed to be more open, scalable, and modular.
“Our VoIP customers have told us that Lab Manager has
dramatically reduced the cost and complexity of testing their
systems and networks, especially when taking into
consideration the extreme diversity of devices that must be
tested for end-to-end interoperability,” said Jay Oyakawa,
EdenTree president and CEO. “It’s gratifying to have the hard
work and innovation that our employees have poured into Lab
Manager be recognized by a leading publication such as
INTERNET TELEPHONY.”
"The EdenTree Lab Manager solution has clearly
demonstrated to the staff of TMC Labs that EdenTree is truly
innovative in the burgeoning VoIP/IP telephony industry.
Never before in this industry has there been a greater need
to highlight the most inventive VoIP products and services,"
said Rich Tehrani, Group Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of
INTERNET TELEPHONY.
“The TMC Labs Innovation Awards are based solely upon the
uniqueness of the company’s offering or how pioneering the
particular product or service is. It is not based on company
revenue or number of products sold. It is based on the
concept that Lab Manager is innovative.” according to Tom
Keating, CTO and TMC Labs Editorial Director.
Keating continued, “EdenTree deserves this great honor for
creating a ground-breaking VoIP interoperability test
solution. I look forward to seeing other innovative solutions
from EdenTree Technologies as they continue to contribute to
the future of the VoIP/IP telephony marketplace."
The TMC Labs 2006 Innovation Award highlights will be
published in the July 2006 issue of INTERNET TELEPHONY
magazine.
