Spirent® Communications Announces Partnership with EdenTree Technologies® for Lab Automation

Spirent continues to lead the industry in test automation partnering with lab management innovator EdenTree

Spirent Communications plc (LSE: SPT), a global provider of performance analysis and service management solutions, and EdenTree Technologies, innovator of software solutions for lab management and test automation, today announced they have entered into a technology partnership and global reseller agreement whereby Spirent will resell EdenTree’s lab automation solutions. The EdenTree lab management solution complements and integrates with the Extreme Automation™ capability delivered with Spirent’s innovative testing platform – Spirent TestCenter™. Together, Spirent TestCenter Extreme Automation and EdenTree Lab Manager™ significantly reduce testing cost and time-to-market while increasing test coverage.

Under the terms of the agreement, Spirent’s global sales force will resell EdenTree’s Lab Manager solution to leading NEM, Service Provider and Enterprise customers worldwide. The partnership results in the industry’s highest productivity test tool architecture matched with a software-controlled lab switching infrastructure solution and an intuitive GUI for managing and scheduling topologies. Lab Manager also provides unequaled visibility into lab layout and resource utilization to allow optimal decisions on equipment investments.

EdenTree Lab Manager is a software platform for managing, scheduling, configuring, and tracking network lab resources. It provides a GUI and API for managing an automated physical layer and power switching infrastructure to which test equipment and devices under test are connected. The result is a software-controlled lab environment with a simple, drag-and-drop user interface that allows test, QA, customer support, and development engineers to easily and remotely design, schedule and automate test configurations.
